It should be noted that Ultimate Leads appear as the same shade of gold as found on Master-difficulty Leads, making it difficult to distinguish between the two. Intermediate Leads consist of mainly treasures, motifs chapters, cosmetics, and mount components. Every zone has one simple-difficulty Lead that is given to you for free. Simple Leads can be scryed by default and consist of mainly treasures, motifs chapters and antique maps. For example, an intermediate-difficulty Lead can uncover an epic quality item. There are five levels, but it should be noted that the difficulty of the Lead doesn't always accurately relate to the quality of the antiquity. Leads have fixed locations, such as drops from certain enemies, containers or merchants.This means if you discover a Lead on one character, another character can scry and excavate it. Leads expire 30 days after you obtain them, however you can obtain them again.Some Leads may require you to have done other tasks before you can obtain them – exploring a zone, completing a quest, or digging up other Antiquities. You don't need to be an Antiquarian to find them, but you do to use them. They can be found in a wide variety of ways and places throughout the world.
